WARNING: HUGE FURIOSA WRITE UP!!! This costume was an insane journey. I have never worked on such a tiring project. It challenged me in ways I had not anticipated and looking back I would say I definitely underestimated it a little. I saw the movie on opening day and by that evening I had shaved all my hair off and had black make-up on my forehead. I had no idea how I was going to make this costume but I knew I had to. I began research by seeing it another seven times in theaters… After that I, ahem…acquired it…and frame-by-framed the entire movie. Over the next few days I took over 600 screenshots and broke the costume down

I'm back! Yay! This year has been one of the busiest years for me in recent memory. I really pushed myself to be more productive with my costumes and to spend more time seeing friends and attending events/cons. I feel like I have just been going, going, going since November of last year. A lot of exciting things happened in that time. Dragon Age Inquisition came out, which utterly consumed my life and is still kind of consuming it. I started and finished Marian Hawke from Dragon Age 2 for Katsucon. I also did 3 location shoots this year, was filmed and interviewed for a cosplay documentary and was a guest at Momocon. It was really awesome. I

Welp, con season is over for me :C I went to way more cons than I thought I would this year. It was tiring but exciting. I made a lot of new friends and it was overall pretty great of a year. I am looking forward to making some new costumes for next year and creating new opportunities for myself. I attended: - Katsucon - MTAC - Momocon - ColossalCon - DragonCon - AWA - Atlanta Ball jointed Doll Con (super small though) - Walker Stalker Con Jeeez...so many, though not as many as some of my friends go to, hehe. I won't be returning to MTAC next year unless the convenience factor is way off the charts. I just can't justify dropping mon
